MODERN fell in love with this look we found on the instagram page of Kassie Yeager @kasyeager and had to know more. We contacted her and she agreed to share the story: "My boyfriend @matttalllen is the one who cut my hair," says Yeager who works with him at Snapdragon Salon (@snapdragonstudio) in Phoenix, Arizona. "We both brainstormed and came up with the haircut because we knew I would lose all the blonde in the back area since I haven't lightened it since the first time I did it three months ago."
Step 1: The first part of the journey: Fully bleach out the hair with Wella Blondor Powder with 40 volume developer. Tone with Pravana Vivids Silver.
Step 2: Allow hair to grow out (in this case, 3 months).
Step 3: Maintain color with Pravana Pure Light Purple Shampoo.
The cut, according to Yeager: "To preserve as much of the light that we could with having the regrowth blend in, Matt did an undercut in the back and the sides with a slight asymmetrical focus behind the right ear using shear over comb for the entire cut."
