Healthy Hairdresser made an impact at America’s Beauty Show (ABS) over the weekend!

As this month’s Healthy Hairdresser Challenge, ABS attendees were invited to pick up a free pedometer from the Cosmetologists Chicago (CC) booth to track their steps as they walked the show floor, took classes and networked with other beauty professionals. By 11a.m., all 1,000 pedometers had already been given out! Those who returned the pedometers by end of the day with 5,000 or more steps logged received a special Healthy Hairdresser gift bag filled with samples, goodies and support from MODERN’s Healthy Hairdresser 2015 sponsors.

Keep your steps going! Get your own pedometer and walk a little more each day until you work up to a daily total of 10,000 steps—about four miles. You’ll have more energy while building muscles in your quads, glutes and calves.
