We were wowed by this silver/blue melt by Eva Lam (@evalam_) of Vancouver BC and asked for the formula.
She shares:
Before: She came in with level 7 roots and 4 inches of faded dark brown dye, the rest of her ends were level 9/10 blonde.
Bleach formula: Wella Blondor with 30 volume
Root Formula: Goldwell Colorance 8sb + 2 inches of 2N with Colorance developer lotion
Silver: Goldwell Colorance 8sb with Colorance developer lotion 2:1
Application:
Step 1: Bleach the roots and brown while carefully avoiding the blonde.
Step 2: Rinse and repeat to lift the left over warmth from brown dye.
Step 3: QUICKLY apply the root formula.
Step 4: Tone the ends with silver formula for 5 minutes and rinse.
