and bevel the ends.
In this look, the team used Aquage Sea Extend Volumizing Mist to create strand defi nition and separation while keeping the hair noticeably soft, loose and organic. The hair was then dried and diffused with the \ BaBylissPRO Rapido and cup diffuser.
BaBylissPRO VP Luis Alvarez has always believed that hair is to fashion as dancing is to music. “You can do them separately, but when you do them together that’s when you get magic,” he says.
With that in mind, as the color palettes of fashion become brighter and more chromatic with the arrival of spring, Alvarez introduces Chrome Cast, a collection that showcases how tonality in hair should move in the opposite direction and become more neutral, allowing the fashion in the wardrobe to have its moment while hair stays clean and pure for the season.
“Effortless texture is revealed when there is a pure palette, especially on shorter styles,” Alvarez says. “You can really see the peaks and valleys— highlights become more focused when the hair is a solid shade—you see tonal variation at its best with a neutral palette.”
To maintain the brightness, clarity and shine of the platinum tones, while neutralizing unwanted brassiness, the models used the Rusk PlatinumX aftercare regimen, which includes a brightening shampoo, conditioner, treatment and lusterizer.
