Johnny B Juniors Supports the Great Work of ACEing Autism

Johnny B CEO and President Alfonso "Al" Añorga started a brand for men and boys to encourage good grooming which, in turn, encourages a healthy sense of self-respect. He instilled his work ethic and his dedication to improving the lives of others to his children: Cassis, his 23-year-old daughter now pursuing her law degree, and Evan, his 21-year-old autistic son enrolled in junior college in Southern California.

It was Evan’s idea to find the perfect Autism charity to partner with for the newly launched Johnny B Juniors line, a five-product line designed for boys ages 3-13. After much deliberation, Evan and Al chose ACEing Autism, a volunteer-driven nonprofit that helps autistic children, ages 5-18, develop motor skills and improve social interaction through weekly two-hour tennis lessons.

A portion of the proceeds from every Johnny B Juniors product purchased online at johnnybhaircare.com supports the services ACEing Autism provides. Al is committed to using boys who are involved in the organization as models for ads and marketing materials moving forward in an effort to keep it relatable.

Johnny B Juniors is ideal for hair that’s not yet ready for heavier formulations. It's also vegan, cruelty-free and pH balanced. Since its launch, it has met sales expectations as intro packages are being shipped to salons and barbershops.

ACEing Autism’s Southern California program has approximately 700 families participating and offers programs in 28 additional states nationwide. For more information, visit aceingautism.org
