We noticed this post by Orlando Rodriguez (@theorlandosalon) on Instagram and how to learn more. Rodriguez, owner of The Orlando Salon located in Houston TX, just opened his salon on December 25th 2014. "And it's been a true blessing with how busy it's been!" Rodriguez says.
For client Vanessa, Rodriguez was excited for the challenge. "She came in with a black to violet ombre," he says. "She has been using clarifying shampoo everyday to take the stubborn violet out before coming to see me, but the color wasn't budging. She wanted to be blonde without the maintenance."
Rodriguez shares the how-to using all Paul Mitchell products:
STEP 1: At scalp apply PM The Color 5N with 20 volume developer.
STEP 2: Section the hair in 4 quadrants. Blend PM Double Process lightener with 20 volume creme plus a bond builder. Hand paint in 1/8 sections. Work up, continuing thoughout the hair.
STEP 3: Process for 25 minutes. Rinse and shampoo.
STEP 4: Tone with equals parts PM Shines 9BV/9NB. Process for 20 full minutes.
