TRANSFORMATION: Going For A Power Blonde

Victoria Langley (@hairbymissvictoria) of Sydney Broderick Salon and Spa in Jefferson City, MO, met with her client, a natural level 5/6 with 2.5 inches of regrowth and minimal highlights, and learned she wanted to be a much lighter blonde. "She wanted all over more quantity blonde pieces and for the existing highlights to be white blonde." Here she shares the HOW TO:

STEP 1: Weave highlights in 1/4 inch sections, using 1:2 ratio Paul Mitchell Syncro Lift lightener with 20 volume cream developer on her new growth.

STEP 2: Feather through midshaft and to lighten up the  existing highlights with 1:1.5 ratio Paul Mitchell Lighten Up with 10 volume cream developer.

STEP 3: Process for 20 minutes then 20 more minutes under the steamer.

STEP 4:  Tone with Paul Mitchell The Color 1 oz 9V + .5 oz 10A + 1.5 oz 10 volume clear developer. Process for 5-10 minutes then rinse with Marula shampoo/conditioner followed by Paul Mitchell Forever Blonde Dramatic Hair Repair spray.
