Maggie Mulhern | January 8, 2017 | 8:22 PM

This client arrived with about four inches of regrowth (natural level 7) and some existing highlights which were originally copper.Jon Alexander Frawley (@jonnystylez), a color and balayage specialist at Bangz Salon and Wellness Spa in Montclair, New Jersey, is so sorry he didn't get a before shot, but this processing shot tells quite a story. Here he shares the details and formula:

STEP 1: Apply Wella Koleston 7/43=8/0 20 volume with a dot of 10 volume  as a single process.

STEP 2: Comb the single process down through the mid-lengths.

STEP 3: Balayage every other piece of hair using Wella Magma /44=/73 30 volume (for added pop and dimension).

STEP 4: Glaze with 7/43=6/4 Wella Color Touch 6 volume for 15 minutes.
