Looks like many of you really do have fun in the salon when others aren't looking!  Bekah Goodyear  (@deucedeuce), an artist at DeMaj Salon in Lafayette, CO. and fellow stylist Denai Low, decided to "play" and created this icy white finish on Goodyear's Mohawk.

Here the artists offer the formula for the three hour coloring. To begin, "we pinned the mohawk section and shaved the sides, then went back and texturized the rest and tapered it down the back."

FOR COLOR:

Step 1: Apply Schwarzkopf lightener with 30 volume developer from root to end in 1/2 inch sections.

Step 2: Process for 30 minutes, lifting to pale yellow. Shampoo and condition the hair. Towel dry.

Step 3: Tone with Wella Color Touch 10/8 and 9/16 {1:1} with 1.9%. Process for 30 minutes and then rinse from the hair.

Advanced education is important to the artists. Adds Goodyear:  "The more you read, the more things you know. The more that you learn, the more places you'll go."  -Dr. Seuss
