Laura Kaszoni (@lalasupdos) from Roost Salon and Skin Studio, Sacramento, CA, met Alina who wanted a vibrant red with shades of blonde on her level 6-7 in a brown tone.


Here she offers the HOW TO:


Step 1: In foils place fine weaves and apply Goldwell Lightening Granules (Ultra Powder) + 20% developer.
 

Step 2: For the base apply Topchic Goldwell 5RR -all outside the foils. 
 

Step 3: Process for 35 minutes and then rinse, keeping the foils in place.
 

Step 4: Apply Goldwell 6R Colorance toner to glaze, working around the foils, to make the red more vibrant.
 

Step 5: Process for 5 minutes and then rinse thoroughly.

 

Step 6: Remove the foils and shampoo and condition the hair.

 

Step 7: After a trim, apply "It's a 10" leave-in conditioner and "It's a 10" Miracle Oil Hairspray to add more shine to the color.
