"My new guest Jeanine came into Di Rosa Haircare (@dirosahaircare) after waiting weeks for an appointment," says Jennifer Correale (@hairbyjenniferann). "She found me through Instagram."
Jeanine's previous hairdresser moved away and she was unhappy with her hair. "After consulting with her for a few minutes I immediately knew that we needed something low maintenance and lighter and brighter for the summer months," adds Correale. "Her main concern was getting away from the brassy red tones she had prior but still keeping her hair in good condition. We decided that a traditional ombre was not for her. We wanted to see color throughout her hair but still keep a shadowed root that would be a bit cooler than the rest of the hair."
Here she shares the HOW TO on her client with existing level 4 at re-growth:
STEP 1: Apply Goldwell Top Chic 40ML 30 volume 40ML 6MB to re-growth only.
STEP 2: Using a Goldwell Color Board, apply Goldwell Silk Lift and 20 volume to desired areas in diagonal sliced sections, Feather in lightener by turning brush vertically while using a sweeping motion. "In this situation I went right to the foundation color and diffused both color and lightener together for better melting." Separate with foils or thermal paper.
STEP 3: Process for 30 minutes. Shampoo.
STEP 4: Tone with Goldwell Colorance 40ML Core Lotion 20ML 10V. Process for 15 minutes. Rinse, shampoo and condition the hair.
