When we posted this on Instagram to show the power of lighting more than 3,800 followers "liked" this pix (so far) and many asked for the formula. We asked colorist Kelsey Jeanne (@kelsey_scissorhands) of Nicole's Salon and Day Spa in Stoneham, Massachusetts, for the details and she shares:

Client started with a gray/blue color.

Step 1: Lift to a white blonde using Goldwell Silklift Lightener and 20 volume, blended with Olaplex. Process for 30 minutes at room temperature. Shampoo, no conditioner and dry completely.

Step 2: Apply Pravana Too Cute Coral, Pastel Pink, one drop of Neon Orange, and one drop of Magenta and Olaplex #2 for Clear, all over the hair starting at the root melting into the ends to create the translucency at the ends.

Step 3: Process open air for 20 minutes. Rinse with cold water and condition. Apply Goldwell Kerasilk Leave In cream and Moroccanoil before the blowdry. Curled with a 1inch iron, brushed out with fingers and sprayed with Kenra Silkening Mist for shine.
