Richard Monsieurs“It’s something old, something new, something borrowed, and something 'true'." This is how Trevelle Baker, Esquire Grooming Barber, describes Esquire Grooming’s Urban Block Men's Collection.
"The haircut is a play on the classic conk (derived from Congolese, a hair straightener gel) and pompadour look from the '50s and '60s and the '80s classic hi-top fade," Baker explains. "For a true modern look, I lowered the fade by extending the weight of the blend and reset the direction of the hi-top by keeping it lower in the crown and elevating the length towards the front. The looks were styled by using the Esquire Grooming Defining Paste to set off the controlled curly look and Esquire Grooming Textured Gel to highlight the conk and pomp look. It’s a great haircut for man at this best.”
