How to Keep Curls Hydrated and Full of Shine

 

For clients with curly hair, keeping it full of shine and hydration is vital. Nadria Brown is a Florida-based curl specialist and co-owner of the Curology Studio. On her @colormecurls Instagram page, Brown educates both her clients and fellow stylists on tips and tricks for maintaining and ehancing their natural texture. After completing color services: 

Step 1: Cleanse with Deva Curl Original No Poo. Condition and detangled with Deva Curl Decadence One Conditioner to ensure hydration for her color-treated hair. 

Step 2 : Rinse a little out, leaving most of the conditioner in and then spritzing Deva Curl High Shine spray section by section. 

Step 3 : Over top of the High Shine spray, add super cream section by section and then a little B’leave in over everything using the prayer-hands method. 

Step 4 : Place client under hooded dryer to ensure that roots are dry, then diffuse with the hand diffuser to ensure the ends are dry.

Step 5: Finish with a little Deva Curl hairspray and High Shine spray to open up the curl and seal with with a beautiful luscious shine.
