⁉️OK SERIOUS QUESTIONNAIRE COMING AT YOU...⁉️ 1. Starbucks or Tim Hortons? Or other. 2. Milk or cream? Or other. 3. Coffee or tea? #alchemyxartistry #alexkennedyhair _____________________________________________________ FOR THE CLIENTS: How do YOU like your coffee? Although this mix of creamy and espresso tones is gorgeous, I actually prefer my coffee BLACK. 🖤 This Color was built on sessions- that is how we have maintained so much dimension, adding more lightness each session while maintaining the tones from the previous session. To me, it is so important that when a brunette 🙋🏽‍♀‍ wants to still feel like a brunette, to leave LOTS of depth through the ends! This ties in the natural root all the way through the hair & allows for the growth to be the softest possible without her feeling like she is half brunette & half blonde 🌓 months down the road. ✌🏽 _____________________________________________________ FOR THE STYLISTS: TECHNIQUE / FORMULA: 🔸TEASYLIGHTS in a bricklay pattern using thicker weaves (thin and thick weaves). 🔸I used @davinescolor Progress bleaching powder and 20/25/30vol 1:2 for the new growth, and 15vol 1:2 on some of the lighter ends to give them an extra kick. TONE: 20g 8.1 + 20g 8.0 + 10g 6.0 + 5vol 1:2 for 10mins. TOOLS: @framar foils & brushes! COLOR/CUT BY: @alchemyxartistry. STYLED BY: @offthebeetonpath.

It could be a coffee with a warm caramel drizzle, or a an espresso with chocolate "brownie points" throughout.  Coffee-inspired haircolor gets our heart pumping.

In honor of National Coffee Day on September 29, and the beverage that gets us going most days, we bring you this slideshow of java jewels.

And if you need more convincing that brunette is the way to go...
