Lighter Hues and Blonde Bombshells at the 2016 Oscars

According to Hollywoodlife.com, Winslet's Oscar look was styled by stylist Renato Campora. To get the look, Campora prepped her hair with MarulaOil Rare Oil Style Extending Primer and then blow dried her hair with a round brush. To achieve the curls, Campora used the Paul Mitchell Neuro Unclipped 1-inch Styling Rod. The look was finished off with a strong hold hairspray.

Brooklyn star Saoirse Ronan’s soft, windswept waves and plunging green dress by Calvin Klein won our hearts at the ’16 Oscars. Ronan's hair was styled by Hairstylist Adir Abergel and her makeup was done by artist Mai Quynh. Ronan says she likes to experiment with her makeup so Quynh and her decided on charcoal and gray hues around her eyes.

Rachael McAdams got Oscar-ready by brightening up her locks. Nominated for Best Supporting Actress in Spotlight, McAdams’ sleek jade-colored halter-neck dress was the epitome of class! Styled by GHD Celebrity Stylist Mark Townsend, McAdams' sleek, demure hair was blow dried with a ghd air hair dryer and straightened with a platinum styler. McAdams hair was sectioned into a deep side part and then was pulled back into a textured knot. After Townsend secured the knot, he created a sleek, yet imperfect shape.

Celebs at the 2016 Academy Awards went lighter and brighter this year. Shades of blonde from white platinum to honey hues graced the heads of Hollywood’s leading ladies.
