Inspired by Punk slammed into the '70s and '80s - this Mohawk meets the sophistication of a French Twist, while still staying edgy. Living Proof's Global Creative Director Michael Shaun Corby shows you how.

Prep: Start with hair that has been curled and sprayed with Full Dry Volume Blast (see “Studio Waves”).

Step 1: Section out crown.

Step 2: Take remaining hair and gather into a ponytail securing the elastic 4" from ends.

Step 3: Twist section in an upward direction until a french twist shape is formed, secure with pins.

Step 4: Tie hair in a knot right above the elastic.

Step 5: Take the crown section, lightly backcomb with fingers spread to create a light tease.

Step 6: Roll into a mohawk shape, pinning as you secure.

Step 7: Pin random sections to create additional volume and spray Full Dry Volume Blast.

Step 8: Spray Full Dry Volume Blast as you pinch the ends for more texture.
