Light, Bright and Fabulous

Claire Baxter (@hairwithclaire) of Sarah Doyle Hair By Design, Eliza, Melbourne, says "This lovely client wanted be a little brighter with shadowing at the the roots." Baxter worked her magic.
Here she shares the details for this upgrade in her own words:

"I highlighted in fine foils around part and hairline, blended with 20 volume developer, and 6ml of Smart Bond to protect the hair in the process. I used CHI Organic Hair Care (LOVE) for the base 30grams of 8a and 10 grams of 7a with activator, adding 3.2 ml of Smart Bond. I didn't want the hair to look overly tinted so after 30 minutes the foils were light enough and ready to be rinsed."

Toning was not necessary.

Baxter finished with the Kevin Murphy Shine Blonde range to enhance the finish.

From Foiled and Damaged To Luscious Red

Maggie Mulhern | October 1, 2017

"This client had been doing full foils for years, and her hair showed it," says Tiffinie Morton (@hairbytiffinie). "We had been working on getting her hair healthier and decided to try something new. She initially wanted to go to a warm level 5 but I talked her into trying this to ease her into being darker since she had been blonde for so long." Details here.
