In 2006, Rusk introduced its Deepshine Color to the market. This year, the brand is celebrating its 10th anniversary of the 100-percent gray coverage color line that was designed to deliver a premium color service at an accessible price.
“We were taking the heritage of Rusk and broadening it to offer a true and complete portfolio,” says Alan Stockman, VP and general manager of Conair Pro. “We had brought so much to style, cleanse, treat and condition, but if you are truly going to serve salon profession-als, you need to be in the color space.”
To help Rusk celebrate, we take a look back at the past decade of the Deepshine umbrella’s launches, model shots and photoshoots.
“We were looking for the world’s most extraordinary haircolor, offering amazing color, clarity, condition, shine, excellent gray coverage and accuracy in level and formulation,” Stockman says. “I look forward to the next 10 years to make the first 10—which were really successful—look like just the beginning.”
