Makeover by Daisy Goord.

Daisy Goord (@daisy_goord) of March Hair, Plymouth, United Kingdom, admits to being “color obsessed” and has a particular passion for blonde finishes and big transformations. “I love taking on a challenge and the work most stylists would say ‘no’ to correcting,” Goord says. “I’m constantly keeping myself educated as the hair world is always changing and improving which iI find so exciting. There’s never a dull moment in this industry especially when working with bright blondes.”

Not surprisingly, Goord was excited when her new client came to her with a color “that wasn’t a million miles from where she wanted to be. YES it was too warm and YES it wasn’t lifted high enough, but there are several easy tweaks to make to hit her bright blonde goal.”

Here Goord shares the details for the makeover:

STEP 1: Create a full head of foilage highlights, applying Wella Blondor blended with 20 volume (Olaplex added.)

STEP 2: Tip out the ends and apply Wella Freelights blended with 30 volume (Olaplex added.) Process according to manufacturer’s instructions and then rinse from the hair.

STEP 3: Shadow root at the bowl on wet hair using Wella Color Touch 7/1 plus 6 volume.

STEP 4: Tone using Wella Illumina 10/69 + 10/93 + 6 volume.

STEP 5: Blow dry using a Dyson hair dryer and then finish with a ghd classic straightener to create a soft curl.
